DAY 01
Arrival in Negombo

A warm Ceylon Escape Holidays welcome greets you at Bandaranaike International Airport. The short 30-minute drive north brings you to the charming coastal town of Negombo. Unwind beside the Indian Ocean or float in the hotel pool – your Sri Lankan adventure begins gently, exactly as it should.

DAY 02
Pinnawala, Kandy & Cultural Immersion

Stop at Pinnawala Elephant Orphanage to witness the beloved river bathing ritual before continuing to Kandy. Explore the sacred Temple of the Tooth Relic, stroll the lakeside promenade and optionally glide across Kandy Lake by boat. Round off the evening with a vibrant Kandyan cultural dance performance.

DAY 03
Botanical Gardens, Tea Country & Nuwara Eliya

Wander through the magnificent Peradeniya Royal Botanical Gardens before ascending into the cool highland air of Nuwara Eliya. Tour a working tea plantation and factory to discover Ceylon tea’s full journey from leaf to cup. As evening falls, enjoy a lakeside stroll at Gregory Lake, with optional horse-riding.

DAY 04
The World's Most Beautiful Train Ride & Ella

Board the iconic highland train at Nanu Oya and wind through mist-draped tea estates and cascading waterfalls into Ella. Marvel at the magnificent Nine Arch Bridge carved through the jungle, then hike Little Adam’s Peak for sweeping panoramic views across the valley. A truly unforgettable day from first to last.

DAY 05
Galle Fort & Turtle Feeding at Sunset

Spend the day exploring Galle Fort, a UNESCO World Heritage Site where Dutch colonial ramparts meet cobblestone lanes, boutique galleries and sun-warmed cafés. As golden hour arrives, head to Wijaya Beach for an enchanting turtle feeding experience – watching these ancient creatures up close is genuinely and quietly magical.

DAY 06
Beach Morning, Colombo City Tour & Departure

Enjoy one final leisurely morning by the ocean before the scenic expressway drive north to Colombo. A short city tour takes in the vibrant Pettah markets, the elegant Gangaramaya Temple and the Galle Face Green promenade. Last-minute souvenirs secured, transfer onward to the airport for a fond farewell.
